Etosha Giraffe

Etosha Giraffe

This handsome chap stood right along the side of the road. We were on our way to Etosha, Namibia. To make my job easier he was on the left. I sprained my neck trying to see all of him. Totally calm, he stopped eating breakfast a few times to check us out. I imagine he conferred with the gods (as giraffes do) to see if we were safe. It seems we got the thumbs up.

The Ingredients: besides a handsome giraffe, we have Simplicity, and nice Tonal Balance. I did however have to reduce the brightness of the grass so it would better balance the tone of the sky. The giraffe’s orange complexion works nicely (complementary colour) with the blue sky.

Image edits, once again, are focused on strengthening the Ingredients present in an image.
